Frequently asked questions.

Do I have to complete lab testing to work wiith you?

No, lab testing is not necessary if you are wanting more general dietary and holistic lifestyle recommendations. However, I highly recommend my baseline package, which includes the HTMA (Hair Test Mineral Analysis), in order to see your specific mineral patterns and any corresponding issues. It is most beneficial to you as the client! If you are wanting a more general 1 on 1 session, then contact me here.

Is the HTMA a reliable test?

The HTMA has a plethora of supporting research that showcases its reliability. The hair is exposed to blood for approximately 3 months before it keratinizes, making it the perfect metabolic blueprint of your mineral levels. It allows us to see long term health patterns rather than just a snapshot in time that blood work provides. For more information about the HTMA testing I use, click here.

Can i order additional lab testing later?

Yes! You are always welcome to start with a baseline package and then add additional testing as you see fit. I also suggest doing a re-test of the HTMA 6-8 months after implementing changes to see how the body is responding and to make any necessary adjustments.

Do you take insurance?

I do not take insurance and am a cash pay business. I do offer payment plans in order to be able to serve individuals in all stages of life.

Do you ascribe to a specific type of diet?

I do not follow diet or “fad” trends. I take a whole-food based approach oriented to the specific needs of each individual. I look to seasonal produce, quality animal based proteins, well-sourced ingredients, and properly preparing different food groups for maximum nourishment.

Do you give any refunds?

For my baseline package there is no refund since it is all encompassing. If you are not satisfied with our partnership or have financial hardships, and have signed up for a package with multiple sessions, a partial refund may be given for the work not yet completed.

Where will all my information be stored & do you only work locally?

I use a HIPPA compliant database called Practice Better. You will create an account where all sensitive information, medical history, and lab results will be safely and securely stored. I work remotely via video calls, but am open to meeting in-person if you live in the Northern Idaho area. I work with clients all over the nation!
